From the beginning, we’ve approached things differently. Designing with intention, producing with care, and considering the impact behind every piece we make.
We prioritize low-impact materials. We rethink waste: recycling off-cuts, repurposing textiles, and working toward more circular solutions. We partner with manufacturers who align with our standards for ethical production, and we build programs that extend the life of our garments.

Park & Fifth is a proud B Corp certified company. A certification that recognizes our standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Becoming B Corp Certified is an important milestone we are very proud of, but not because it signals completion. It’s a way of holding ourselves accountable to the standards we’ve been building toward, and it challenges us to keep going.
As we grow, so does our responsibility - to our customers, our partners, our team, the planet and the industry we’re part of.

Materials
We think of a sustainable product in a holistic way - not only using fabrics with low impact on the environment, but crafting high quality garments while keeping the afterlife of each component in mind. We take responsibility for all of our products and the waste we create.

Our Circularity Partners
We have partnered up with textile recyclers - Debrand and Supercircle, they help us extend the life of our products - and the resources used to make them - as many times and ways as possible.
Through our partnerships with DeBrand and SuperCircle, in 2024 alone, we have diverted 10,911.14 pounds of textile off-cuts from going into the landfill.
Debrand, a Vancouver based business, has been helping apparel and footwear brands extend the life of their products (and, importantly, the resources used to make them) since 2008.
Given our close proximity to Deband, we are able to provide them with our textile off-cuts during production as well as dresses that we are unable to sell. They then allocate these to recycling partners or to waste-energy facilities if they cannot be recycled.
SuperCircle is a solution partner dedicated to helping us enhance our circularity. This collaboration focuses on finding innovative solutions for managing our off-cuts from Ontario and BC, ensuring they are repurposed responsibly rather than ending up in landfills.
Our primary objective with SuperCircle is to implement textile to textile recycling, ensuring that our textiles are reused in a sustainable manner. They provide valuable insights into CO2 savings, energy conservation, and water conservation.

In the Neighbourhood
Our proximity to factories means that we can ensure that the working and safety conditions are good and that our Code of Conduct is being sustained.
Six of eight of our production partners are located within a 15km radius of our head office in Vancouver.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct follows the guidelines set by ILO (International Labour Organization) and FLA(Fair Labour Organization), both platforms that advocate for labour laws internationally.
Fair is Fair
Due to its strict labour laws, Canada is a low risk country in terms of labour abuse, meaning employees of our factories get paid fairly and have a safe and healthy work environment amongst other things.
Tight-Knit Partnerships
Our great relationship with our factories is a product of daily visits, good communication and a goal to support each other and see one another grow.
Many of the factories we work with have been with Park & Fifth since the beginning, and have grown along with us.

Bluesign Certified
Our factory partner in China is Bluesign certified, which means that they are accountable for both their production process’ impact on the environment, but also the well-being of their employees. Employees are offered career advancement and education opportunities within fashion.

Garment Care
Our goal is for our customers to get as much use out of their dresses as possible. This means producing quality products that are easy to take care of in a way that gives both the garment and our environment a longer life.
Caring for your Dress
Taking good care of your clothes means not having to replace them as often. We encourage our customers to purchase high quality items so that they can live in their wardrobe for longer than one season or event.
Park & Fifth dresses are easy to care for making them a long lasting addition to ones wardrobe. Most dresses are machine washable, avoiding the need for the harsh chemicals found in dry cleaning.
We also promote the use of a Guppyfriend or Cora Ball to trap and properly dispose of microfibers that would otherwise end up in the oceans.

Pre-loved
Our pre-loved program encourages customers to bring back their Park & Fifth dresses for a credit in order to give the dress a second life. If a dress is not re-sellable, we will provide a credit and recycle the dress on behalf of the customer.
Pre-loved dresses are accepted and sold at all three of our studios.
Community
We’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. In 2025, we’re excited to roll out various initiatives that will engage our employees and enhance our connection to the community around us.
Empowering Women
As a female owned business, with 95% of our staff identifying as women, and a customer base that services mainly women, we know how important it is to bring up and support the next generation of women. In an effort to give back to our community we have chosen to support BeaYOUtiful, a registered Canadian charity that empowers female and non-binary youth aged 8-14. Their mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters self-worth and confidence.
Donations for a Cause
All unsold garments from our annual warehouse sale, we try to donate to charities such as My Sisters Closet and The Cinderella Project. Both of these organizations advocate for eco-fashion, the thrift movement, and enable all genders to access beautiful new and second-hand clothing.
Both of these organizations are based in Vancouver and do great work empowering women from all backgrounds within our community.
It Starts Within
We believe in keeping our employees and customers informed about our sustainable practices and developments in the fashion industry. We’ve implemented internal initiatives, such as our ‘Sustainability Corner’ in our monthly newsletter to highlight current trends, initiatives, and influential figures in the world of sustainability.
