Part-Time Floor Lead (Saturday & Sundays)

Park & Fifth is seeking a reliable, fashion forward, energetic, mature and ambitious individual to champion the role of weekend Floor Lead at our Vancouver, BC Flagship location.

This is a part time role for someone who is passionate about taking initiative, leading by example and working within a team environment.

You must be available to work weekends and have week day flexibility. As a Park & Fifth Stylist and Floor Lead your responsibilities will include:

 

Sales Growth, Strategies and Transaction Processing:

  • Driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding established sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Accurately and efficiently processing client transactions and assisting clients with navigating our digital platforms.

Customer Engagement and Service:

  • Running studio appointments and assist walk-in clientele, expertly communicating product knowledge and detailed information about the P&F Social, Un-Bridesmaid, and Bridal Collections.
  • Assisting customers in finding products, providing information about merchandise, and offering personalized styling advice.
  • Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is always maintained.
  • Understanding clients’ preferences, needs, and buying behaviors to offer personalized recommendations.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Inventory Maintenance:

  • Maintaining physical inventory, including receiving shipments for the studio, encompassing off-the-rack, made-to-order, and e-commerce fulfillments.
  • Assisting in managing inventory levels, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Supporting in the execution of inventory counts, pullbacks, and destock as required.

Store Maintenance and Presentation:

  • Support in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of the store.
  • Upholding the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place with the correct stock level.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Executing team touch bases and lead the store in the absence of management, focusing on creating a supportive atmosphere and ensuring everyone is heard.
  • Clarifying any procedural questions from team members and escalate when needed.
  • In the absence of management communicating shifts in priorities based on store traffic and inventory levels.
  • Supporting in the training and onboarding of new team members.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicating customer feedback and recurring issues to store leadership.
  • Ensuring associates follow store policies, operational procedures, and brand standards and escalate when needed.
  • Documenting and reporting any maintenance issues, security concerns, or system malfunctions.
  • Notifying management of supply shortages or damages.
  • Reporting on tardiness, callouts, or behavioral concerns that affect the store’s workflow.
  • Sharing customer preferences, complaints, and common product questions.

Key Holder:

  • Ability to conduct opening and closing responsibilities, open and close the store using the key provided and secure the alarm system enabling it and disabling it when necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Park & Fifth Sales Associates have:

  • Proven experience as a high-level sales person in the clothing or fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of current fashion trends and clothing brands.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising principles.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use a point-of-sale system.
  • A willingness to learn.
  • The mindset to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
  • A positive attitude.
