Calgary Studio Manager

Job Description

  • Execute all Calgary-based appointments; manage all Calgary studio emails and client communication
  • Manage physical inventory, including incoming shipments for Calgary studio – both allocation/replenishment and client order fulfilment
  • Hiring and people management – build your own future team!
  • Participation in writing training manuals and SOP’s
  • Full ownership of P+L responsibility in order to achieve sales goals and manage studio expenses
  • Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
  • Oversee components of store marketing strategy and plans in areas including but not limited to events, social media and visual merchandising
  • Maintain studio organization and merchandising; recommend furnishing and storage solutions by presenting ideas to Vancouver team with budget requests

Skills and experience

  • Self-starter – takes initiative and looks for opportunities to improve and grow the studio; works well independently
  • Entrepreneurial – recognizes the growth opportunity with a start-up company; motivated by challenges stemming from this fast-paced environment.  Starting on the ground floor!
  • Excellent customer engagement; shares in clients’ excitement for their special occasion and executes appointments with an in-depth knowledge of P&F’s product and procedures
  • Able to build a strong studio team centered around teamwork, positivity, productivity and self-accountability
  • Strong communication skills; building foundation for positive studio environment and productivity
  • Minimum 1 years+ in retail management experience
  • Cares about ethical fashion practices and shares this enthusiasm with P&F customers
