"The dress is absolutely beautiful- loved the colour and fabric and overall style! Similar to some of the other reviews - the fit through the hips is quite large. I’m usually a size small-medium (for reference I’m 5’5 and 135) and sized down to a small but still had to alter the dress through the hips and take it in quite a few inches and I’d say my hips are one of the widest areas of my body! Also had to take a lot of length off even with heels. Because the dress doesn’t have a zipper, I wouldn’t be able to size down to an XS and still get it over my shoulders and rib cage to get on so alterations were necessary. Overall it’s a beautiful, flowy dress which is why I decided to keep it and get it fitted. I’d say just be prepared to alter it and factor that into your budget and timing."

Beautiful but

"Beautiful dress, I love the purple and red combo, other colours also beautiful but I need it a purple dress. I normallly wear an xs but bought xxs cause the waist and heaps area was pretty big. The dress needs a zipper. Extremely long, i had to get shortened."

Gorgeous, runs big!

"Gorgeous dress! Comes long so plan on giving yourself time to hem. I’m usually between a US size 2-4, I ordered an XS based on reviews that the dress runs large & it fit perfect. Wore to an out of state wedding & it didn’t wrinkle during travel which was nice"

"Great fit! Would be nice if it had a zipper for the ease of taking it on and off but overall the fit is very flattering! True to size, I got it hemmed about an inch or so as it is long ! Material is great quality !"

Awkward Proportions

"I wanted to love this dress but the proportions are so awkward and makes it unflattering. Also, the colors are a lot more vibrant in person. The dress was almost neon. This is my second time ordering from P&F and I am again, really disappointed. I will be returning the dress!"

I got so many compliments

"I got so many compliments on this dress! It is beautiful, but for the price you're paying it should really have a zipper. I went for a smaller size than I usually wear because of the reviews. It was definitely tight at the top, but I had to get a substantial amount of the length removed and had to get it taken in at the hips (which are not particularly narrow). I am really happy with it but that is 50% due to how great my tailor is."

Love love love

"For reference I’m 5’8”, 160lbs, 35 chest, 29 waist and 41 hip and ordered a medium. This dress is gorgeous. Light and airy material but not too thin, very comfortable and flattering. I like that it’s somewhat adjustable and customizable with the tie strings. I’m fairly tall and even if I wear my 2 inch heels it’ll be quite long so to anyone shorter I would encourage getting it hemmed. The green accents in the dress are quite olive-y and I expected it to be limey-er but overall I’m super satisfied with this dress and can’t wait to wear it to my brother in laws wedding!"

Bad proportions across sizes

"I really wanted to love this dress, but the fit is terrible. The first size I ordered was too tight in the hips (I have proportionately narrow hips), so I exchanged it for a size up. The size up is still tight in the hip/thigh area and gapes at the top. I am so disappointed. After paying for the dress and exchange fee, I didn't even bother returning it for another fee, but I also won't be able to wear it. Finally, as other reviewers have mentioned, you will absolutely need to get this dress hemmed if you are my height (5'5") or shorter."
